The cottage is 50 meters from the quay in Lysebotn, on the left. Here Stavanger Turistforening offers accommodation in rooms with showers and toilets, or alternatively cheaper accommodation in dormitories. After and before the tour, you can relax, enjoy the romance and the cozy atmosphere in the fireplace room, close to the cafe, which also has refreshments.
One of the most beautiful trips in Lysebotn is the trip in Lysedalen. This hike is suitable for young and old, walking across a large field, through an idyllic forest, over a bridge, back along the river to the field.

No matter what time of year you choose to visit Lysebotn, the view over the Lysefjord is always fantastic. We cannot guarantee colorful sunsets, but each day is unique in its own way, whether it be sun, clouds or rain. Welcome to the mountains and good hiking!
